Facility GSP (General System Preference of) or system preferences the general reduction of import duty rates by agreement international / regional, eg reduction of import duty rates in order ASEAN PTA'S known as the CEPT for AFTA (Common Effective Preferentional Tariff For Asean Free Trade Area) Determination of the rate of import duty levied on some commodity goods imported from ASEAN countries. magnitude charges in order CEPT import duty is lower than the rate Duty generally accepted as the Customs Tariff Book Indonesia (BTBMI / Harmonized System). Customs Tariff applies only to the importation of goods which has been fitted with a Certificate of Origin or Certificate of Origin (eg, Form D and Form E). Goods originating from that country if it comes with CoO given tariff reduction to 0% to 5%. List of goods referred to its imposition of import duty rates can be seen in BTBMI or related Finance Minister Decree. technical Customs DTSD CUSTOMS AND EXCISE 233 This scheme is being developed by the government of Indonesia, among others that has been done is a trade agreement with China, Korea, Japan and later in other countries, such as India and so on. With the tariff preference agreement expected foreign trade will increase.

HOW DO EXPORT TO INDONESIA

When you have project to indonesia region such as Kendari, Pomala and Bontang, when you import cargo from vietnam and delivery to indonesia region, hereby we would like share how do import heavy cargo to indonesia region such as kendari, Pomala and Bontang

• Prepare your cargo in your warehouse (inlcude export license : Packing list, invoice list, COO etc)
• Booking international liner with destination to Tanjung Perak ( Surabaya Port).
• choose shipping agent  (local liner) who is has capablity doing import clearance, widely networking to local liner and delivery to site.
• Request to International liner that export cargo use SOC container until delivery to site (consignee)
• Request to local liner ( shipping agent) to explain  requirement import clearance in surabaya Port.please don't delivery cargo to surabaya port before you understand how much cost will appear and procedure in there.
• Request to local liner about trucking cargo in site ( how do procedure and how much cost it)
• Request to International Liner, that make long time detention and Demurrage about 21-30 days.
• Request to International Liner about guarranty deposit container , make sure can arrange smoothly procedure in deposit container.
• Make sure that local liner can coordinate with consignee in site.

IMPORT TIPS IN INDONESIA

Since you will import to Indonesia, when you buy goods from aboard and delivery to Indonesia, you must know how do import regulation in indonesia area, you must understand about import custom clearance processing. you can not send your goods to indonesia without importir has import license. hereby i would like share about tips how do import to Indonesia :

1. please identify your goods, is goods can be category DG or not.
2. please identify your shipment is by sea or air freight
3. please check to your partner what is HS Code number of your goods
4. please make sure that importir must has SIUP,TDP,NPWP and NIK
5. please make sure that shipper must provide Packing list n invoice list of your cargo
6. identify how much Duty tax of your goods
7. check to your forwarder how much cost import freight from aboard to indonesia include Import clearance processing

RULES AND REGULATION ON TRADE IN VIETNAM

International goods' trading can be accomplished by export, import, temporary import, re-export, temporary export, re-import and transferring.

In the import and export business, subject to periodic socio-economic conditions and international treaties under which Vietnam is a member, the Vietnamese government will authorize detailed lists of goods prohibited for import or export, or require import, export licenses from state authorities and procedures to apply for such licenses.

The Vietnamese government also sets detailed regulations on temporary import, re-export, temporary export and re-import. For goods' transferring, it can be accomplished by transferring goods directly from export countries to import countries without passing through Vietnamese border gates; transferring goods from export countries to import countries with passing through Vietnamese border gates but without procedures of import and export in and out of Vietnam; and transferring goods from export countries to import countries with passing through Vietnamese border gates, placing into warehouses, transit areas at Vietnamese ports but without procedures of import and export in and out of Vietnam.

Under guidance of the Law on Trade, import, export goods are to be provided with certificates of origin (CO) when: goods which enjoy preferential taxes or other preferences and other cases subject to Vietnamese laws and international treaties under which Vietnam is a member.
