HOW DO CALCULATE IMPORT DUTY IN INDONESIA (TIPS)

When you import general cargo both air and sea freight, you must prepare and estimate how many duty tax of your cargo. you can ask your forwarding to calculate how many cost duty tax of your cargo. Please find we give you tips / sample  how do calculate Duty Tax in Indonesia :

Diketahui :

a.       Invoice Value                    : USD. 71.950,62

b.      BM                                         : 5%

c.       PPN                                       : 10%

d.      PPH PASAL 22                    : 2.5%

e.      Kurs                                       : Rp. 9100 (asumsi)

f.        HS Code                               : 901.850.00.00

g.       Shipping  Value                                : USD. 3000

h.      Insurance                            :  0.50 %  (asumsi)

a.        ( 71.950,62 + 3000 ) *0.50% = USD, 374,75

A.      PERHITUNGAN BIAYA NILAI PABEAN :

a.       (USD. 71.950,62 + USD. 3000 + USD. 374,74)* IDR 9100 = IDR.  685.460.895,21

B.      BEA MASUK (BM)  5% :

a.       IDR. 685.460.895,21 X 5% = IDR. 34.273.044,76

C.      PPN  10% :

a.       (IDR. 685.460.895,21+ IDR. 34.273.044,76) X 10% = IDR.71.973.394, 00

D.      PPH PASAL 22  (2.5%) :

a.       (IDR. 685.460.895,21+ IDR. 34.273.044,76) X 2.5% = IDR. 17.993.348,50

TOTAL  DUTY TAX : IDR. 34.273.044,76 + IDR.71.973.394,00 + IDR. 17.993.348,50   = IDR.124.239.787,26

EXPORT FREIGHT TIPS

When we doing export shipment by sea freight, we must provide several document for Customs :

1. PACKING LIST INVOICE
2. SIUP
3. TDP
4. NPWP
5. SHIPPING INSTRUCTION

•  After we provide all the documents for Customs, please booking Shipping line with Shipping Instruction which we have provided it. and then order to your EMKL or PPJK to make PEB EDI and NPE soon.

•  after you get respon from Shipping line, the shipping line will give you DO Container, and please order to EMKL to Take the Container for Stuffing in your place.

• after PPJK getting respon from Customs, please send PEB EDI and NPE to EMKL for fiat. 

• when stuffing process is finish, submit PEB EDI and NPE ( has fiat) to EMKL for ship container to export  port with  PEB and NPE  together.
• in moment together, Send Finally Shipping Instruction ( include Container Number and Seal, PEB EDI, NPE) to Shipping line soon
• when you get Draft B/L, please do correction and cross check your data in Packing list Invoice.
• if Draft  B/L ok, your cargo ready to export.
• When you get Original B/L, please send several document Original B/L copy, Packing list and Invoice list to your client for import customs in overseas.

HOW DO EXPORT TO DILI

Since you have export  from Jakarta to DILI ( East timor) by 20 FT with door to port services, you must prepare several step and doing plan below :

• Prepare and Provide Invoice and Packing list of the cargo
• Provide Shipping Instructionin
• Provide Receiptn letter
• Provide SIUP TDP and NPWP
• Provide Undername ( if needed)
• Provide Fumigation (if needed)
• Good Packaging of the cargo

Doing Plan :

• Booking the shipping line with Shipping Instruction you have provided before
• Booking EMKL with Shipping Instruction you have provided before
• When you got Schedule of the vessel and booking Shipping line is confirmed, order to EMKL to take the container empty and doing Stuffing in Shipper place
• Submit Invoice packing list to EMKL for Input PEB EDI and NPE
• Submit Receipt Letter to EMKL for stuffing the cargo in Shipper place
• when the cargo must fumigation, doing it in Shipper place
• when PEB EDI and NPE has respon and finish submit it to Shipping line and bring this document together with the entry of container into the Container UTC region in Priouk.
• Container ready to bring to up the vessel
